Research site Livability recently released its 2019 report of the best affordable cities in the U.S., topped by Boise, Idaho.
MarketWatch reports that affordability is the top concern for Americans when choosing a place to live. To reflect that, Livability capped the median home value in this year’s city at $250,000. Topping the list was Boise, Idaho, which has become a target for its safety and growing tech scene.
Following Boise were Raleigh, N.C., Madison, Wisc., Iowa City, Iowa, and Rochester, Minn., which all fit the bill of a medium-sized city with reasonable home prices and plenty of resources.
