Construction of affordable, passive housing starts in Oregon

An affordable housing project constructed to Passive House standards, which will decrease energy costs for heating and cooling up to 90 percent, had its groundbreaking last Tuesday in Hillsboro, Oregon, the Portland Tribune reports.
