For $580,000, sans freight and installation, you can be the owner of a chic, 600-square-foot stainless-steel-and-glass home, completely furnished.
The prefab home product released by Danish design company Vipp includes interior furniture and lighting, a fully functional kitchen including dishes and glassware, a bed with linens, a bathroom, an outdoor shower and a fireplace. Though complete with all the basics for daily life, the home’s designer Morten Bo Hensen said the two-story house is intended as an escape, The New York Times reports.
