Luxury Homes Reach New Threshold

A report by Christie’s International Real Estate says that today’s billionaires are paying more for houses, the Associated Press reports.

Instead of garages filled with the latest sports cars or a museum’s worth or paintings, billionaires are paying more than $100 million for homes to showcase their fortunes. The upper-tier market has shifted in the past year as the dollar has strengthened.
