More young adults today are living with their parents and staying there longer than did previous generations of young adults, according to the Pew Research Center. The lack of jobs is not keeping Millennials at home as only 5.1 percent were unemployed in first quarter 2016 compared with 10.1 percent in first quarter 2010.
