More than 1 million American homes should have solar panels by February 2016, according to the EnergySage Solar Marketplace Intel Report. That milestone compares sharply with the 30,000 homes equipped with PVs just 10 years earlier in 2006.
EnergySage’s Vikram Aggarwal told Tech Insider that his company estimates up to 6 million Americans are actively shopping for solar today, and more than 300,000 of them will install solar panels this year.
