GAF announced today the GAF Homeliest Home Contest, together with Ply Gem, starting on June 4, 2012. The contest is for all homeowners whose homes need repairs. Please submit photos and a story describing your situation and why your house is the “Homeliest Home” at www.gaf.com by June 18, 2012.
A total of three winners will be selected from the categories of (a) if you or someone living with you suffers from an illness, (b) if you are or were recently in the military, or (c) if you suffered a weather-related event.
“We are really pleased to offer this contest for military members, those whose homes have been affected by a natural weather disaster and those that are suffering from an illness. We know that many families are doing what they can day-to-day under very difficult circumstances and we wanted to offer this exterior makeover as help from our GAF team,” said Alyssa Hall, marketing communications manager at GAF. “We are proud to be contributing an American-made Lifetime Roofing System together with The Designed Exterior by Ply Gem to help homeowners who need it.”
Winners will receive a full exterior home makeover including a GAF Lifetime Roofing System and The Designed Exterior by Ply Gem with windows, patio doors, siding, stone veneer and designer accents. In addition to receiving product, winners will also have the opportunity to help design their new exterior by selecting color schemes and materials on The Designed Exterior Studio visualizer at www.plygem.com. The total product prize package for each home is valued at up to $60,000 and winners will appear on Fox & Friends. All rules and restrictions can be found at the contest site, www.gaf.com.
“Ply Gem is honored to take part in giving three deserving homeowners beautifully updated home exteriors,” said John Stephenson, vice president, corporate marketing of leading building products manufacturer, Ply Gem. “Application of The Designed Exterior by Ply Gem, combined with roofing from GAF, will completely transform the look, energy efficiency and maintenance level of the winning homes. We look forward to seeing the transformations and to giving virtually worry-free home exteriors to these three families.”
