KBIS 2013 offers attendees continuing education units for featured speaker lineup

The 2013 conference at KBIS will introduce four business leaders: David Bromstad of HGTV, David Lingafelter of Moen Incorporated, Gail Warrior of Warrior Group, and Tammy Erickson of Tammy Erickson Associates.

The National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) has announced that the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in New Orleans will feature CEU (continuing education unit) credits for this year’s lineup of featured speakers. 

The 2013 conference at KBIS will introduce four business leaders: David Bromstad of HGTV, David Lingafelter of Moen Incorporated, Gail Warrior of Warrior Group, and Tammy Erickson of Tammy Erickson Associates.
 
—Tammy Erickson, CEO of Tammy Erickson Associates, a firm dedicated to helping clients build intelligent organizations, will present on "The Influence of the Generations on the Kitchen and Bath Market," applying her widely recognized research on the generations to the issues facing the kitchen and bath industry. Friday, April 19, 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.: CEUs – 0.1; NKBA Hours – 1.

Gail Warrior, founder and CEO of Warrior Group, one of the leading women- and minority-owned construction companies in the United States and a commercial general contractor headquartered in the Dallas area, will discuss the challenges she encountered as a female executive in a male-dominated industry and examine the lessons she's learned along the way. Sunday, April 21, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., "Lessons Learned: What Would I Change in My Business—and Life—If I Could": CEUs – 0.1; NKBA Hours – 1.
 
—David Bromstad, original winner of HGTV Design Star, and host and designer of HGTV Color Splash, will lend insight into current trends and how they impact design. In doing so, he will touch on various topics, such as the impact of budget and current challenges in design, survival of small business in today's economy, smart business tactics, and more.
