The NAHB reports that the market share for single-family attached houses stands at 10.8 percent of all single-family starts, unchanged from the prior quarter. The information is based on an NAHB analysis on Census data of Starts and Completions by Purpose and Design. The data shows that single-family attached starts totaled 19,000 for the quarter. Over the last four quarters, townhouse construction starts totaled 67,000.
