A survey conducted by HSH.com found that out of 2,000 U.S. adults at least 25 years old, 80 percent responded that they have at least one major regret about their new home.
One of the most common regrets, at 16 percent, was that their home was too small. More than 9 percent said their home didn’t have enough storage space. Most respondents say that though they thoroughly researched local schools, property taxes, commuting distances, and home insurance costs, a large proportion admitted they’d overlooked factors they later wished they’d reviewed more carefully.
