A new study by the NAR found that many baby boomers who had to delay retirement will finally be leaving the labor market and moving to lower cost, sunnier metro areas.
NAR’s study results came from an analysis of current population trends, housing affordability, and local economic conditions. While Boise, Idaho and Raleigh, N.C., are noted for solid job growth among baby boomers, cities in Florida and Arizona remain a big magnet for boomers because of their weather.
