Engineered to decrease the potential for lightning-related damage to a home’s gas piping, TracPipe CounterStrike corrugated stainless steel tubing by OmegaFlex has a proprietary jacket material. If the piping becomes energized by lightning, the black jacket dissipates energy, protecting the stainless steel pressure liner and other fuel gas system components. TracPipe CounterStrike resists the damaging effects of electrical energy as much as 400 times better than conventional corrugated stainless steel tubing, the manufacturer says. (Silver Sponsor)
