A new report from the U.S. Department of Energy, “Home RX: The Health Benefits of Home Performance,” found that home performance upgrades can improve the quality of a home’s indoor environment by reducing harmful indoor air pollutants and contaminants. No systematic review of this evidence had been previously conducted, DOE says.
