Zillow Research found that home values in 23 of the top 35 U.S. metros have fully recovered from the housing bust a decade ago.
In addition, median rent remained steady from August 2017 to August 2018, the first time the year-over-year number has been flat in years. September also saw the average home size shrink from a year before to 2,300 square feet.
