The International Living Future Institute has released an updated version of the Living Building Framework for Affordable Housing. This document includes case studies and in-depth information on how to achieve each Living Building Challenge 4.0 Imperative in affordable housing projects.
Thirty-four affordable housing projects across the U.S. have been built under the Living Building Challenge. They include projects such as individual tiny homes to house people experiencing homelessness in Seattle and a 27-story low-income apartment building renovation in Chicago.
