Construction’s unemployment rate hit a non-seasonally adjusted 7.5 percent last month, MarketWatch reports.
That number is the lowest result for November since 2007. In addition, there was an increase of 231,000 construction jobs last month year-over-year. One factor in the decrease in construction’s jobless rate is a shrinking labor pool that started in 2007.
