This year’s NAHB’s International Builders’ Show is the largest edition of the trade show in many years, the Wall Street Journal reports.
The larger size can be attributed to the consolidation of other shows, as well as the gradual recovery of the home building market. The January NAHM home builder survey revealed that builder confidence was at 58, up one point from December’s reading, which indicates more builders view sales conditions as good than poor. In addition, NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun estimates new-home sales will increase by 41 percent this year from 2014, Calculated Risk Blog reports.
