Power Wagon | Ram

May 8, 2016
This article first appeared in the PB May 2016 issue of Pro Builder.

Available this fall, the 2017 Ram Power Wagon looks to build on its off-road pedigree while benefiting from a new design. The Power Wagon has been engineered for optimum performance, with features such as a unique suspension with more than 2 inches of lift, locking differentials, and a 12,000-pound winch with 125 feet of line. A 410 hp 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 engine, the most power available in the class, propels the Power Wagon and includes features to help fend off the effects of heat: a high-volume oil cooler, oil jets for piston cooling, and stainless steel gaskets and fasteners. With 14.3 inches of ground clearance and a generous amount of underbody protection components, the possibility of underside damage or rock wedging is greatly decreased. The Ram Power Wagon can tow up to 10,030 pounds.
