The new 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 diesel engine for the 2017 Ford F-650 and F-750 medium-duty truck line is designed to go at least 500,000 miles without requiring major service of the internal components. Intended for medium-duty use, the engine offers a combination of power, performance, and fuel economy. In addition to superior engine life, the Power Stroke engine is 25 percent quieter at 60 mph and up to 45 percent quieter at idle inside the cabin, the company says. The Power Stroke diesel is available in three power levels: 270 hp, 675 lb-ft of torque; 300 hp, 700 lb-ft of torque; and 330 hp, 725 lb-ft of torque.
