To provide greater protection against moisture damage in exterior wall systems, DuPont’s Tyvek DrainVent Rainscreen is the manufacturer’s first to feature a 0.25-inch space to prevent the material from rot, cracking, or peeling, and to facilitate water drainage and air movement behind stucco, stone veneer, brick, wood, fiber cement, and metal panel cladding systems. The durable, heavy-duty filter fabric protects against mortar, assists with creating a flat surface for the cladding, and was fashioned to be breathable with a three-dimensional honeycomb-textured design.
