S-Squared 3D Printers Inc. of Patchogue, N.Y. says it has built the world’s largest 3D printed home. Using its Autonomous Robotic Construction System, S-Squared printed a 500 square-foot home in less than a day.
The company says its technology can reduce construction costs by as much as 70%. The machine uses less than ten gallons of fuel to accomplish the task, S-Squared says. The company says it looks forward to using the 3D printing method to construct more than one million square-foot builds.
