When it comes to square footage, Millennials want more home than Gen X and Baby Boomers.
The National Association of Home Builders pulled out more data about housing preferences from its 2019 What Home Buyers Really Want report and found young adults born in 1980 and later are looking for more space because they are thinking about starting a family.
The NAHB report offers more findings regarding preferences for the type of home, resale vs. new construction, and the median price each population group expects to pay.
