A corporate deal will give a Texas real estate firm an entryway into a thriving Colorado market.
The Colorado Springs Gazette reports that Dallas-based Green Brick Partners is in the process of acquiring Challenger Homes, a privately owned home builder in Colorado Springs. The deal gives Green Brick a presence in the red-hot Pikes Peak region, which home building production is operating at a 10-year high.
Challenger has 1,800 home sites and more than 4,000 lots.
Challenger builds single-family homes in seven Springs-area developments, with prices ranging from $262,900 to $348,900, according to its website. It also builds townhomes and patio homes in two other neighborhoods.
