Luxury homes are becoming more plentiful and less expensive in the U.S. housing market. A new study offers examples of "attainable luxury" markets in major metros.
The 15 for-sale properties highlighted and listed by Redfin are located on the coasts, most in California and Texas. A $2 million home in the Dallas-Fort Worth suburb of Flower Mound, Texas, recently ranked as one of the most livable small towns in the nation, includes a grotto, vast storage space, wet bar, wine cellar, and naturally-inspired, high-end finishes including marble, stone, and wood.
If you’ve been dreaming of a major upgrade–hello deep soaking tub–now may be the time to turn that into residential reality. We took a look at homes ranging from approximately $1.39 million to $2 million to help visualize this newly attainable level of luxury, both in and outside of major metro areas. Their common theme? An affinity for custom finishes.
