Homes are selling like hotcakes in the ZIP codes of 02176 (Melrose, Mass.), 43085 (Worthington, Ohio), and 58103 (Fargo, N.D.), HousingWire reports.
ZIP codes that made the list, compiled by Realtor.com, have healthy housing dynamics and a strong local job market. Their “heat” is determined by how long properties stay on the market and how frequently buyers search for each ZIP code.
According to Jonathan Smoke, chief economist for Realtor.com, these housing markets are great for first-time buyers, providing opportunities to “build a career and raise a family; older generations are able to build wealth and enjoy a variety of lifestyles.”
