Later this month, Toll Brothers will launch its T Select product line. The houses will have the same style as more higher-end homes but with fewer structural options, making them faster to builder and cheaper to sell.
Houston Business Journal reports that the homes will be introduced in Houston. T Select houses will range from 2,800 to 3,500 square feet, and will be built on 65- and 60-foot lots. One and two story designs are both available. Homes will start in the upper $300,000s.
The new line will be introduced to three or four other markets after Houston.
David Assid, Toll Brothers’ new Houston division president, recently told the Houston Business Journal the company was gearing up to roll out some smaller home options. “We will introduce a 55-foot patio home soon,” Assid said in September. “On top of that, we are looking seriously at introducing a slightly smaller product at a more competitive price. As the upper price points have slowed, a lot of builders are introducing a smaller product or smaller lot to get into a price segment that’s more active.”
